I had first done Emma’s hair and makeup for a styled shoot. Emma had such a wonderful energy! Big smile, positive attitude towards life and the kind of girl you want to be friends with. When she called back in 2019 to tell me she was getting married, I was so excited I said yes without hesitation.
Emma wore her hair half up/half down most times so when we were styling her hair she gravitated towards what works with her. I think it’s something worth keeping in mind, stick with what works. It works for a reason. We pulled the hair off of her face to expose her beautiful features, secured the hair at the back and allowed the curls to fall naturally. I used my Veaudry Curling wand, to achieve the curl. It’s super hot at Bordeaux Game Farm and the curls lasted well!
With Emma’s makeup, she was specific, which I can appreciate as I am like that. We softened her base with a MAC shimmer cream. I used Makeup Forever – Face and Body Foundation for a soft finish but perfect and long lasting. Emma had her lashes done so we simply accentuated her lash line with shadow. She didn’t want heavy eyes. I think we achieved a beautiful sultry eye for Emma.
